“Throughout the seasons, the Okavango Delta is forever changing. Flood waters come in and recede, constantly altering the landscape. This Duba male uses a dead tree to gain a bird’s eye view of his territory in the Delta. We were filming the series Okavango River of Dreams and while he looked wonderfully regal at this moment, when he tried to get out of the tree, he was not so regal. His paw slipped off the thin branch and he came tumbling down - fortunately, only harming his pride, not the whole pride (lioness’s)!” -BEVERLY JOUBERT
