A beautiful, stout grullo with a super disposition. Bred by Merritt Quarter Horses. An own son of WYO BLUE BONNET, 1992 grulla roan, son of Leo Hancock Hayes out of Mandys Sue Hawk. His dam, Red Hawk Blues, is a blue roan daughter of Blue’s Beard and a Plenty Try daughter. Red Hawk Blues has pro- duced several stallions including a Chip Merritt stallion in Colorado. The diversity of his lineage makes him a perfect cross on our band of mares, to keep the bone and size and not lose the athleticism. He has been shown limitedly in Ranch Horse Versatility classes with Kentuckiana Ranch Horse Association and we have used him extensively on cattle.
