Sapore 2019 Holiday Guide
SANTA’S CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
3/4 cup Unsalted Butter, room temperature
1 cup Brown Sugar
1/4 cup Granulated Sugar
1 Egg
2 cups All Purpose Flour
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Baking Soda
2 tsp Cornstarch
2 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
8 oz Bittersweet Chocolate, cut into small chunks
1 Preheat oven to 350°F.
2 Cream together butter and sugars until smooth. Add
eggs and vanilla and mix until blended. Sift together the dry ingredients, and incorporate slowly into the wet ingredients until combined. Do not over mix. Lastly, add the chocolate chunks.
3 Using a tablespoon, drop
dough onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 8-10 minutes until edges are golden brown.
Serve on a platter
with a tall glass of milk. Perfect for Santa on Christmas Eve!
