So What Is The Latest At Kallima
Well what a year we have all had. Nothing has changed yet everything has changed. It’s bizarre.
A year of lockdowns and battling this virus, we would never have believed it if someone had told us what we would go through!
We suffered ourselves with Covid‐19 at the beginning of the epidemic and yet again over Christmas and the New Year which set us back medically, the after effects of tiredness and aching made it hard to even get out of bed on many days but we’ve regained our strength (well as much as we can but getting stronger every day), so to be honest we were pleased to be in a further lockdown (January to April) as it gave us time to recover. And recover we have!
We are back open and just in time to celebrate our 4th birthday. We can’t believe it, four years of Kallima! How mad is that.
How we have changed. We started in just one room and now have two shops and a great meeting room, plus we are expanding, but more on that at a later time.
To celebrate our birthday week we are going to have some special offers, and freebies to give to you. Some of which are shown in this newsletter, but there will be more that will only be seen if you visit Kallima in person.
As many of you know, at Kallima we are never happy unless we are busy and busy we definitely have been. We listened to what you had been saying to us so we are excited to say we have been busy revamping our Kallima Centre and expanding the retail area to double what it was.
We now have a dedicated room for the witchcraft/pagan side of things called ‘The Wonky Witches Cavern’. Those we have told already are excited about it and we hope those reading this and finding out about it are just as happy. The Wonky Witches Cavern is full to the brim with everything witchcraft related, lots of witchy goodies, altarware, candles, herbs and much more to purchase for your spellcrafting.
We already had a great range that we have been selling for 4 years now, these include many items that are made exclusively at Kallima and only available through the website or the shop, but now there is much, much more.
Creating a dedicated shop for the witchcraft has given us the opportunity to expand our original shop to include more Angelic, Buddha, Chakra, Incense and Crystals range, plus so much more.
All items for both shops will (eventually) be available on the website which we have been working hard during the lockdown to be able to offer you. Plus Click and collect is available as well as posting for all of our items within both our shops.
Our classes are expanding as well, and even though we are allowed to open again we will still be running some via zoom for those of you who cannot make the in‐house times or live in a different location. All our workshops etc can be found and booked via our website or eventbrite.
We have seen during lockdown some very worrying workshops popping up. Some we know for a fact are run by people who have done on‐line courses, (often only to entry level i.e. not in depth), and have little or no experience of spirituality or witchcraft, and then set themselves up as ‘tutors’.
We know our current tutors at Kallima come with many years experience in their subjects, not just practicing it but teaching it as well and we have no intention of changing this criteria at Kallima as we believe that you deserve only the best tutors available.
