In Paris in 1929, Perriand exhibited an interior for modern living with Corbusier and Jeanneret. Perriand is considered the primary author of the stunning furniture pieces on display, including an upholstered leather cube supported by a metal grid,
a swivel chair inspired by office furniture,
It rocks!
and a reclining chaise fitted with pony skin. These iconic objects were manufactured in 1930 with the names of all three design- ers (Corbusier, Perriand, and Jeanneret). In the 1960s, Corbusier marketed them exclu- sively under his brand, LC (“Le Corbusier”).
