Human Resources Committee
The Board established the Human Resources (HR) Committee to consider employee-related matters and to make recommendations to the Board in this regard.
The HR Committee consists of four members: two are independent non-executive directors and two are non-executive directors. The Chairperson of the HR Committee is an independent non-executive director. The HR Committee meets at least four times a year. The Chairperson makes a presentation regarding the deliberations and recommendations of the HR Committee at Board meetings.

Social and Ethics Committee
The Board established the Social and Ethics Committee (SEC) to assist the Board in discharging its duties relating to the SABN’s social and ethics performance.
The SEC consists of one independent non-executive director, two non-executive directors, one executive director and two prescribed officers as the Board may direct from time to time. The Chairperson of the SEC is an independent non-executive director.
The SEC meets at least three times a year. However, a special meeting of the SEC was convened in July 2020 to assess and review the SABN’s response to ensuring the well-being of employees amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The Chairperson makes a presentation regarding the deliberations and recommendations of the SEC at Board meetings.
