Visit number three was to TAVERNA VOLPETTI at 8, Via Alessandro Volta, to taste cured meats (lardo di Colonnata, culatello
di Zibello and salami􏰚 􏰊􏰛􏰖 􏰖􏰈􏰜􏰝􏰂􏰝􏰛􏰆 􏰆􏰞􏰟􏰝􏰅 􏰋􏰠 local chesses, such as pecorino romano con miele. This was followed by a longer ses- sion at RISTORANTE ANGELINA at 24a Via Galvina, on Monte Testaccio, to taste Rome’s famous quinto quarto 􏰡􏰋􏰜􏰊􏰢􏰚􏰕 coda alla vacci- nara (oxtail) and trippa alla romana (tripe) with especially selected red wines. RISTORANTE ANGELINA is quite an unusual atmosphere, 􏰉􏰙􏰝􏰂􏰝 􏰞􏰋􏰁 􏰄􏰛􏰖 􏰞􏰋􏰁􏰂􏰅􏰝􏰢􏰠 􏰅􏰈􏰆􏰆􏰈􏰛􏰣 􏰈􏰛 􏰊 􏰤􏰈􏰆􏰘􏰙􏰝􏰛􏰕 􏰊 garden or a lounge or even a combination of all three all elegantly displayed.

It was a most enjoyable evening. The com- pany was good and the guide was excellent. 􏰐􏰆 􏰙􏰝􏰢􏰟􏰅 􏰆􏰋 􏰣􏰋 􏰊􏰥􏰋􏰁􏰆 􏰆􏰙􏰝 􏰄􏰂􏰅􏰆 􏰆􏰈􏰧􏰝 􏰉􏰈􏰆􏰙 􏰅􏰋􏰧􏰝- body who knows the area and the right plac- es. It was a super stroll and highly recommendable.
