The city was not built to hold such a large capacity. Venice needs to save its iden- tity and live a normal life, where its cultural heritage can be appreciated at a normal pace.
The starting points for the visit to Venice are Piazzale Roma and Venice’s central railway station right on the opposite side of the canal. They are the gateway to Venice where to buy a City Pass Venezia Unica to board the water bus known as the vaporetto.
