Still thinking about what to do when you leave school? New College Durham has some exciting courses which are launching in September and it’s not too late to apply now!
Following significant investment in industry standard equipment, the college is launching eSports which offers students the chance to learn the skills they need to join this thriving industry. The course will involve coaching and managing
a team, planning and running events, developing promotional and branding materials and demonstrating great teamwork skills.
Also joining the colleges’ suite if IT and computing courses is Games Design and Development.
The course covers exciting topics such as 3D environments and 2D modelling, 2D and 3D animation techniques and concept art and digital games production. Stop playing and start creating!
Budding entrepreneur with a passion for fashion? The college is also launching a Fashion Business Marketing course. Or do you prefer to get creative
in the kitchen? Then their new full-time course in Patisserie might sound sweet.
Other exciting course additions include Interior Design and Music Technology.
These brand new courses join the college’s wide range of other programmes which incorporates A-Levels, practical vocational courses, T-Levels and apprenticeships.
