Stone Valley Festival North 2022

Stone Valley Festival is an experience like no other. Brass Bands at the Beamish Bandstand 6th August - 2pm - Beamish Museum, Stanley
Every weekend in August, Beamish Museum will be welcoming a different brass band to the band stand in the 1900’s town. The month will be kicked off by Sound Track Brass, playing on the 6th of August, followed by Aycliffe & Brancepeth Brass Band, North East Concert Band, Houghton Brass, Hexham Brass, Stanhope Silver band and Spinoff Sax. Durham Children’s Book Festival
24th August - 10am - Durham Market Place, Durham
Two days of bookish fun are coming to Durham. So many children’s books will be brought to life in the heart of Durham, for our young people to enjoy. The festival includes an Authors’ and Illustrators’ Marquee, where there will be four daily workshops. Authors such as Kylie Dixon and Tom Rogers will be in attendance. Rave Kidz Summer Party

Durham Beer Festival
31st August - 4pm - Durham City Rugby Club, Durham
After having to call off the festival in 2020 and 2021, Durham Beer Festival is delighted to be returning this year for the 40th festival. Right now, 30 hand pulls are scheduled to be in attendance, and between 6 and 8 ciders will be available.
