It’s like the sun has come out after a year of relegation and all round gloom. Sunderland have turned the corner at last and both myself and many thousands of my fellow supporters have been wallowing in the joy of repeatedly reading reports of a second win in a row, 2-1 at Derby on Saturday. Of course we know the line-ups, the timings of the goals, the number of yellow-cards, the lot, but like pussy-cats that need to be stroked repeatedly we’re enjoying every second of it.
