AUTISM at NE Volume Music Bar, Stockton
Get ready to rock out for a fantastic cause this month as we host Autism Rocks in Stockton. Autism Rocks is an annual rock music event which features a variety of local rock bands from across the region, all coming together for a great cause to play fantastic music and support local autism charities in the Teesside area by raising money. This year, the event will be supporting Autism Parents Together - Tees Valley. Established in 2018, the charity was originally established as a parent support group but has progressed to do so
much more. The main goal of the charity is to help reduce the social isolation that is experienced by so many autistic children/young people and their families. Autism Parents Together help to provide support to young people aged 0-18 who have been diagnosed with or are undergoing assessment for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). They aim to do this in a number of ways including creating exclusive parent/carer-lead events and activities for children and young people and also arranging separate activities and training
events for parents/careers-only. In order to fund the great work they do, the charity requires funding which comes from subsidies and fundraising to make events affordable and accessible for all families. As part of the day, Manfrog will be bringing their progressively-influenced rock to the stage. With a mix of upbeat riffs and ripping solos, the group will take audiences on an engaging journey as they bring you tracks that get you thinking and rocking. Also on the line-up are female- fronted Fires Of Freya. With
