                  HEAD OF LIGHT ENTERTAINMENT
 NEW RELEASE
 ‘Sick and Tired’
 AVAILABLE
 Saturday 1st October
Teesside odd-pop heroes Head of Light Entertainment return with a brand new EP this month so Lee Allcock caught up with frontman Carl Green to speak about rock ‘n’ roll, conspiracy theories, people who just won’t listen, and more.
Tell me a bit about the topics discussed and why they’re important to you...
All four songs on the EP are, in their own sweet way, about frustrating people in all their ridiculous guises. People who won’t
listen, friends who make you doubt yourself, lovers you can’t work out, sad gits spouting conspiracy theories - all my favourites, if truth be told.
You’rereleasingyourfirstnew music in over a year. It must feel good to be back...
It does. We’ve deliberately gone quiet over the last 12 months

What do you have lined up for the remainder of the year?
After promoting the EP, we’ll go straight back into hiding. Bliss! We do have a significant gig lined up for December though, and we will be revealing more nearer the time.
‘Sick and Tired’ will be available to stream on all major streaming sites from Saturday 1st October.
Oh, you know, our usual exotic blend of wit and wattage. We’re an out-and-proud pop band but I’d say this EP sees us flirting somewhat with that dirty rotten scoundrel, rock ‘n’ roll. I played ‘Sick And Tired’ (the lead track) to a friend last month and he said “Wow, you’ve gone punk!” Needless to say, we haven’t spoken since.
