     SANTA’S LAPLAND
 LAUNCHES 2024 SEASON
Bookings have now opened for the 2024 season of Santa’s Lapland, for departures from 27th November to 24th December 2024.
Families can choose from two or three night breaks, departing from 14 UK airports and can select from two packages: Santa’s Magic or Santa’s Aurora.
The price includes return flights, overseas transfers, half-board accommodation in a choice of hotel, a private family meeting with Santa in his log cabin with a gift for every child, as well as a range of activities including a traditional reindeer sleigh ride.
The Santa’s Magic package includes a two-night stay
in a Type A Family Room at Santa’s Tunturi Hotel with half-board, while the Santa’s Aurora package includes a Suite at Santa’s Star Arctic Hotel.
Selected holidays currently include half-price child places and £100 off grandparent bookings.
 CUNARD SEES STRONGEST START TO WAVE IN THE LAST DECADE
Cunard has reported that in the first week of January it has booked more guests than any equivalent period in the last decade.
The luxury brand has seen strong booking momentum across 2023 and 2024 sailings, with summer itiner- aries and Queen Anne’s maiden season proving to be particularly popular.
Carnival UK president, Sture Myrmell said: “Following two of our strongest booking periods in 2022, we have seen unparalleled bookings during the start of Wave.
“We’ve increased our marketing investment signifi- cantly, including the use of TV advertising for the first time as we reach and appeal to new audiences.
“It’s clear that guests are looking forward to stepping back on board both in the UK and across all our global markets.”
  HOTELPLAN EXPANDS UK SALES TEAM
 Hotelplan UK’s Inghams, Santa’s Lapland and Esprit travel agency sales team is expanding, with the appointment of a new business development manager for the North of England and Scotland and office based agency sales support.
Laura Harrison has been appointed Business Development Manager, representing Hotelplan UK’s brands (Inghams, Santa’s Lapland and Esprit) to the group’s trade partners in the North of England and Scotland.
Sasha Darling, already part of the team, will now cover the whole of the South. Nikita Crane, Agency Sales Support Executive is moving internally to support the group’s partner travel agents.
Julie Franklin, Head of Agency Sales, comments: “‘Now is the right time to once again build our team. With Sasha, Laura, Nikita and myself, we will be able to provide a better service to our agents furnishing them with more tools than ever, while supporting them to grow sales across our brands.
