Air Astana has appointed Andrew Fish as Country Sales & Marketing Manager UK and Ireland, reporting to Richard Ledger, Senior Regional Manager UK&I, Western Europe and Americas.
With more than 20 years of travel experience, Andrew started his career as a Branch Manager at Enterprise Rent-a-Car, before moving to Gulf Air as Leisure and Corporate Account Manager. Andrew joins from Finnair, where he held the position of General Manager UK, Ireland & Benelux.
Andrew Fish says: “I am thrilled to be joining Air Astana at such a pivotal time for the airline. As we increase our flights from London Heathrow to five a week from April, we want to build awareness of our award-winning service out of the UK and develop relationships with key trade partners.”
Glen Travel are delighted to announce the appointment of Claire Somerville who has recently joined the Trade Reservations team.
Claire brings a wealth of experience to the role, having worked previously with Travel 2/4 for 18 years and latterly with Emirates for 6 years.

Adam Kemp has been announced as the new Managing Director of
G Touring, the operator of brands Travelsphere and Just You.
Adam joins from Audley Travel where he was Head of Marketing and a part of both the UK and US senior leadership teams.
“Adam is the ideal person for the role of managing director for G Touring as he brings an outstanding leadership style and proven track record for growth to the business,” said Bruce Poon Tip, owner of G Touring and founder of G Adventures.
“Adam is an incredibly strong leader who will not only guide the G Touring team to success, but who has the ability to ensure G Touring succeeds commercially, while staying true to its own unique set of brand values.
“He is also accomplished in the digital space, which will give G Touring a huge advantage for the future. Under Adam’s leadership, G Touring will remain committed to all its

LAUNCHES RECRUITMENT DRIVE
Belfast International Airport, member of the VINCI Airports network, has launched a major recruitment drive and currently has more than 300 new jobs available across the site with a range of full-time, part-time and seasonal roles.
Positions on offer include ground handling, security, retail, cleaning and catering and the newly created roles reflect confidence post pandemic, with the Airport on course to exceed 2019 passenger levels.
With the addition of Eastern Airways and a new Ryanair base alongside an eighth easyJet aircraft on site, passengers have travel options to 70 destinations across the UK and Europe.
Jaclyn Coulter, Human Resources Manager at Belfast International Airport says: “As the travel industry continues its recovery and we welcome a number of new airlines and new routes, it’s important that we can resource accordingly to support this large growth.
