 WINDSTAR CRUISES REVEALS
  FINNAIR EMBARKS ON
EUROPEAN EXPANSION
Finnair has announced a number of new routes and increased frequencies on its European network for the coming summer.
The Finnish carrier will launch three weekly flights to the Norwegian gateway of Bodø for the first time, expanding its connectivity across the Nordic region.
Complementing existing services to Milan Malpensa, services to Italy will also get a boost, with the addition of flights to Milan’s most convenient airport -
Milan Linate.
Summer 2023 will see Finnair fly to more than 50 destinations across Europe, with additional frequencies added to Berlin, Copenhagen, Vilnius and Riga.
Ole Orvér, Finnair Chief Commercial Officer, said: “Travel has recovered at a good pace so we are increasing flights to popular destinations across Europe for leisure and business travellers.
“We also rescheduled a number of services - both long and short-haul - to ensure seamless connectivity for our flights to Japan to meet the increase in demand from Asia.”
Next summer, the Nordic carrier will offer long-haul connections to Tokyo-Narita, Tokyo-Haneda, Osaka, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Seoul, Singapore, Bangkok, Delhi, Mumbai, Doha, Tel Aviv, Dallas, Chicago, Seattle, Los Angeles and New York.
Finnair offers smooth and easy transfers between flights from as little as 35 minutes, thanks to all flights operating from the same terminal.
  NEW SUITES
Windstar Cruises’ Star Legend recently visited its new headquarters of Miami, showing off two new themed suites as well as a brand-new mural.
The two specialty suites are inspired by Windstar’s Forbes Five-Star sister companies The Broadmoor and Sea Island and will be rolled out to Windstar’s two other Star Plus Class yachts next: Star Breeze in spring 2023 and Star Pride
in 2024.
The new mural from Miami-based artist Alex Nuñez is the third and final to be added on board Windstar’s three Star Plus Class yachts as part of a collaboration with Fountain- head Arts to bring new works to sea.
 Sea Island Suite
Windstar’s Star Plus Class yachts have two Classic Suites located on Deck 5 forward which have been transformed on Star Legend and are now called The Broadmoor Suite and The Sea Island Suite.
The suites are inspired by these unique properties, with the Broadmoor, located in Colorado Springs, known for its adventures, Western charm and mountain vistas.
Sea Island is situated on the coast of Georgia and offers guests Southern charm while providing the perfect backdrop for a range of outdoor activities. The Sea Island Suite is coastal and airy, while guests will find classic furniture and gold finishes in The Broadmoor Suite.
