Azamara – the upmarket cruise line and leader in Destination Immersion® experiences – unveiled its latest creative campaign earlier this year, Change the Way You Sea, highlighting the company’s one- of-a-kind cruising experience offering longer stays and overnights to fully appreciate
a destination.
Azamara’s fleet of four intimate-style ships dock in smaller, marquee ports, giving you unique access to hidden gems around the world. With more Country-IntensiveSM itineraries and land programmes to choose from, you’ll find yourself completely immersed in everything the destination has to offer.
The newest member of Azamara’s four-ship fleet, Azamara OnwardSM, launched this past May featuring exciting new itineraries and onboard venues.
The new sister ship is home to the exclusive Atlas Bar, a speciality venue featuring innovative artisanal cocktails created using the latest techniques from smoking domes to
nitro-infusions, with fresh squeezed juices and handmade syrups to create flavours inspired by destinations across the globe. You can sip on a London Fog Martini, a Tuscan Delight, or the Heart of Azamara while dining on an exotic premium menu of small plates served hot and cold.
Also exclusive to Azamara Onward is a new Chef’s Table concept at speciality restaurant, Aqualina, where you can enjoy a seven-course culinary journey of beautifully presented dishes that capture the flavour and essence
of some of the destination’s most authentic dishes. For entertainment, Azamara has debuted four brand-new Signature Shows on Azamara Onward to keep you grooving all night long to a wide variety of music styles.
Azamara Onward’s inaugural season will explore the Mediterranean and in 2024, the ship will set sail for a new 155-night World Voyage. The once-in- a-lifetime World Voyage will visit over 40 countries in 6 continents with 22 overnight stays and 27 late nights in port, giving you ample time to fully explore the rich culture and history of each destination.
This journey will include immersive experiences in the World’s Wonders, giving you such options as a three- night land excursion in Beijing with
a visit to the Great Wall of China and
a guided tour through the Forbidden City, or a shore excursion to Cairo, Egypt, where an Egyptologist will guide you through the Great Pyramids to the mysterious Sphinx, among others.
In addition, Azamara has recently launched its Europe 2024 deployment, with a choice of 84 new sailings visiting ports only accessible to smaller vessels, such as Norway’s unspoiled Trollfjorden and Germany’s Kiel Canal. Azamara has added over 10 new ports in 2024, including Ceuta, Spain, on
the coastline of Morocco, where you can walk alongside the medieval City Walls or enjoy its astounding beaches. Another is Porto Santo Stefano, Italy, famous for its seafood restaurants and Spanish fortress.
