But what is meant by support?
How does an ITA help a business to grow and successfully export?

What is the role of an International Trade Adviser?
Firstly, it’s important to clearly set out what an ITA’s role is. An ITA isn’t there as a permanent extension of your shipping department. Similarly, they shouldn’t be seen as your export manager. An ITA's role
is not there to single-handedly carry a business’s international trade.
On the flip side, an ITA is someone who you can pick the phone up and speak to. A friendly and familiar face whose experience you can tap into. Not only a knowledgeable individual, but one who also has international contacts that can help you to make the most of your exporting potential.
The important thing to remember is that the ITA's advice is tailored to your business and its needs.
