The proposals
Lidl is expanding across the South of England, and we are delighted to propose a fresh choice for shoppers and employment for local people in Worthing. The Lidl supermarket would be built to our latest energy efficient specifications and will occupy existing units within the retail park (currently vacant Halfords and temporarily occupied Bensons for Beds). The proposals include:
A new Lidl store with 1,081 sqm sales area including Lidl’s popular bakery, and customer toilets
Upgraded and widened car parking spaces directly in front
of the store, including accessible, parent and child, and cycling spaces
New Cycle Parking
Store access from Lyons Way for
pedestrians
