Mohamed Abusal’s artistic projects are ‘daring, critical and scathing comments on what is deemed permissible in terms of technology and civilisation in Gaza today.’ For his 2012 work, Metro in Gaza, Abusal imagined and envisioned a series of seven underground stations that would link Gaza City to Jerusalem.
This artistic and political intervention was deemed a manifesto for peaceful coexistence and unity.
