Size and stature
Findley Roofing and Building is the biggest domestic roofing and building company in the North of England.
This means thousands of customers choose to have extensive roofing or building works carried out by our company every single year. That’s over 20 new roofs, flat roofs and pointing every single week!
To meet this demand, we have a far bigger infrastructure to cope with more intrinsic and detailed contracted works than any other local or national contractor. We have the flexibility to deal with even the smallest of jobs and emergency roofing projects which are our backbone through the
winter months.
Director's promise
Being dynamic, reactive and outward-looking, I have the job as director to steer the ship and try to create a positive place of work for our ever-growing staff, ensuring we are here for the long term. Since taking over as director in 2008, I have maintained our family values and ethics of doing great work in a very safe manner. Through expansion has come, of course, extra costs and overheads, but this has provided a platform to build an extremely reliable and safe company which many men and women are proud to work for and to create exciting careers for many apprentices now coming through
our academy.
As a result, we have one of the highest rated safety records, and this is credit to our meticulous preparation, training and site management. We understand we are not the cheapest, but all these benefits come at a cost. It is important to understand that times are changing regarding health and safety. We have to ensure our staff go home safely to their families every night.
As a happy family man and father of four, my staff and customers' safety is my greatest concern, with of course, continuing to deliver high standards of work. I hope that you will join us and see what all the fuss is about.
