RIVIERA TRAVEL
EXPANDS TRADE TEAM
Riviera Travel has made two new appointments to its agency sales team.
Martin Page, who has joined as a new Key Account Manager, will be field-based and manage a number of accounts, to help them grow their Riviera Travel business and develop new relationships.
Ashley Walker will be
rejoining Riviera as Agency Sales Administrator and cover agent enquiries. He will work alongside Darren Mussell, Assistant Manager Agency Sales and the on-the-road Riviera team, to help grow the firm’s group business. Martin and Ashley will report into Thomas Morgan, Head of Agency Sales UK & Ireland.
Tom comments: “‘I am delighted to
have Martin and Ashley joining the
agency sales team. Martin is well-
known and respected amongst agents and will be a massive asset. We have worked with Ashley before and know how good he is, so we are thrilled he is re-joining. The addition of both is a real testament to our continued support for the trade.
“We have seen encouraging growth this year and want to make sure we have the resources available to help agents develop their river cruise and escorted tour business.”

Hi Folks!
So our summer season of sailing from Rosyth is drawing to a close, but what a fantastic first season back it was! Balmoral ventured to the rugged shores of Iceland, famous for its whale-watching, waterfalls and geysers, explored northern Europe and offered scenic sailings along the Gironde, Garonne and Seine in France, taking full advantage of her smaller size.
I am already looking forward to welcoming Balmoral back to Rosyth next summer, where guests will have opportunities to witness the spectacular Midnight Sun, take in the famous Kiel Week Regatta, explore the Baltic capitals of Riga, Stockholm and Tallinn, and of course, sail the scenic Norwegian fjords – if I had to pick just a few highlights!
For those eager to get away before then, we have a number of sailings from the northerly port of Liverpool throughout the autumn, winter and spring aboard our beautiful new ship Borealis.
This side of the festive season (I can’t quite bring myself to say the ‘C’ word just yet!), guests can join ORCA conservationists for a voyage to the Azores, notoriously difficult to reach via air travel; seek out the breathtaking Northern Lights in adventures into Arctic Norway; and escape for some winter sunshine to explore the colourful gardens of Madeira and sample traditional port wine
in Porto.
Of course, whether it’s aboard Borealis from Liverpool in 2022 or Balmoral from Rosyth in 2023, your customers can look forward to the attention to detail service for which our spectacular crew are renowned.
Because, as I have said so many times before in this column, to us it really is ‘All About the People. All of It. Everything.’
Until next time folks – happy selling!
