EXPLORA JOURNEYS REVEALS DESIGN OF ‘HOMES AT SEA’ SUITES
Explora Journeys has unveiled the design of their Ocean Terrace Suites on its first ship, EXPLORA I, ahead of her maiden journey in May 2023.
Founders, the Aponte Vago family, have curated the design of the suites, penthouses and residences to create a luxurious home at sea, with an emphasis on light, colour, space and privacy.
The lead-in category Ocean Terrace Suites and the 39
sqm (􏰀􏰁􏰂 sq ft) Ocean Grand Terrace Suites some of the largest in the industry, will feature their own private terrace, creating an extension to the living space complete with daybeds and an alfresco dining area.
Each ‘Home at Sea’ comprises a walk-in wardrobe with
a seated vanity area and features a Dyson Supersonic hairdryer, heated floors in the bathrooms, personal binoculars, wireless bed-side charging, a personal mini-bar, espresso machine with biodegradable pods, a kettle and teapot and a complimentary personal refillable water bottle for each guest. 24-hour guest services will also be available.
All of the 461 ocean-front suites, penthouses and residences will feature its own private terrace and floor-to-ceiling windows.
Sales are now open for the Inaugural Journeys Collection for EXPLORA I from May 􏰁􏰂􏰁􏰃 and in its first year, the ship will visit 􏰄􏰃􏰁 ports in 􏰀􏰂 different countries, including two destinations, Kastellorizo, Greece and Saint Pierre, Martinique that have rarely been visited by cruise ships before.
     NEW ACTIVITIES FOR FAMILIES ONBOARD MSC WORLD EUROPA
MSC Cruises’ new flagship, MSC World Europa, scheduled to come into service in December 2022, will feature a range of dedicated facilities and activities designed especially for kids and families.
Spanning 766m2, MSC World Europa will feature the largest kids’ area in the fleet, with seven distinct spaces dedicated to different age groups from 􏰂 to 􏰄􏰅 years old.
The Kids’ Clubs are available from the youngest guests through to teens and activities are organised according to age group. There will be a range of services for babies and young children including the Mini-Club for children under 3 as well as a dedicated childcare service giving parents the freedom to enjoy the ship.

Brand-new activities will include: the LEGO® Celebration Room: High-Tech Activities with access to over 21 of the latest consoles, 􏰅 VR stations and over 􏰆􏰂 different video games: 3,2,1 Knock - a game show for the whole family and Beat the Music, where the whole family will be the star of an interactive and digital game show dedicated to music and suitable for all ages.
Brand new sports programme Z Active for kids & teens, will include football, basketball, zorb ball and for the first time on board, pickleball and hoverboards and Drone Academy 2.0: features a high-tech, high-energy drone relay race.
