Seaham Food Festival
Seaham Food Festival returns on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 August. The festival will bring delicious street food, celebrity chefs and more to the County Durham coast. As always, stalls serving up the finest local produce and exciting street food will be at the heart of the Durham County Council event.
Alongside the tempting food stalls, the festival will once again feature an open-air cookery theatre with demonstrations from celebrity chefs and well-known food personalities. There will also be live music and entertainment.
Amongst the celebrity chefs appearing will be TV chef and Saturday Kitchen presenter Matt Tebbutt. Currently presenting on BBC One’s Saturday Kitchen, Matt also presents on BBC Two’s Best Bites, as well as Food Unwrapped on Channel 4.
Also appearing will be multi-award-winning pastry chef and formidable TV judge, Cherish Finden. Cherish is known for her feisty, unique and watchable personality as a judge on Channel 4’s Bake Off: The Professionals.
MasterChef 2022 runner-up, Pookie Tredell will also be at the festival. Pookie is famous for her unique approach to presenting dishes which are influenced
by her Thai and Chinese background and her travels.

Stacie Stewart.
Ryan, who was
born and bred is Washington, is the founder of the multi-award-winning Life Kitchen and Life Kitchen Cookery School.
Sunderland’s own Stacie Stewart is the diet chef
on Channel 4’s primetime series ‘How To Lose Weight Well’. She first came to prominence on BBC’s MasterChef.
Chris Bavin will be back to host the cookery theatre and introduce chefs on both days. He is the co- presenter of BBC1’s hugely successful series Eat Well for Less? with Gregg Wallace.
