Useful information for your journey
How much luggage can I bring on the coach?
You can stow two suitcases (up to 20kg each) in the hold, and take one smaller item on board with you. A fee of £5 is payable per extra bag.
Larger items such as skis and cycles can be carried if space permits and the item is suitably packaged, at the driver’s discretion, for a fee of £5 per item. While we take every care possible to ensure safe carriage of your items, we strongly recommend that you insure your items.
How early should I arrive at the airport?
We recommend that you arrive at least 1 hour before check-in for your flight opens. This is to ensure you have extra time in case of any unexpected delays.
How far in advance should I make a booking?
Online bookings must be made at least 12 hours before travelling. If you miss this window, you can simply buy a ticket from your driver or on the Oxford Bus app.
Do I need to print my booking confirmation?
If you have booked directly with Oxford Bus Company, we do not require a physical copy of your booking confirmation. You can save your ticket on your device and scan the QR code upon boarding. Please show the PDF and not a screenshot.
Can I bring a pet on board?
Unfortunately pets are not carried on our coach services, except for registered assistance dogs.
