1 It is is unreasonable to expect that the principal will fix every issue in in your your classroom Part of your your your responsibility is is is to know your your students and establish relationships of mutual respect For example if you you have a a a a a a homeless student student you you you should should know that the student student student is homeless and you you should should know that the student student may not be able to keep track of materials homework etc 2 It is unreasonable to to expect that you can send every every difficult student to to the principal every every day Principals have 25–50 teachers on a a a a a a a a campus It is simply not possible for them to handle every every difficult student’s issues every every day 3 It is unreasonable to expect that the principal will continually make exceptions for you you if you you are late do do not meet deadlines fail to do do the necessary paperwork etc To be treated with with respect respect in your your job job you you you must treat treat your your job job with with respect respect Before You Quit

1 Find out who the the the best teachers are on campus and and and ask them how they handle certain problems and and and issues Use their suggestions Develop relationships with them 2 Do contacts/visits of your students’ homes with with another teacher Establish as as many good relationships with with parents as as as you you you can It will make make your life so much easier If you you you do not make make home visits/contacts call each each parent each each semester/year before school starts and tell them you you are glad to be be their child’s teacher That way if you you have to contact them because there is a a a a a a a a a a problem they have heard a a a a a a a positive message from you first 3 Make a a a a video of yourself on on on your your your phone Ask your your your principal if you you you you can put it it on on on the the school website and social media
