“Over the entire time he’s been involved since the ’60s, I doubt you’d find a governor or lieutenant governor or speaker that didn’t know the name of Dr. Graham. It’s not because he
was writing big checks like a lot of people do, although he’s a generous supporter of people who are committed to the things he’s committed to, but because he does fundraisers and has meetings with these people and brings them into contact with other people that they need to meet to do their jobs better. It’s something that he’s dedicated a large portion of his time and fortune to.”
