Apollitical Blood, who is featured on
the cover of our 2022 Speedhorse Stallion Register, is a 2012 bay stallion who most certainly has the business of horse racing
in his heart. From only three crops to race, the young stallion is the #1 ranked Leading Third-Crop Sire of 2021. Apollitical Blood’s progeny include a Champion and earnings of over $8 million, with over $3.5 million banked in 2021 alone.
Apollitical Blood was bred by Bruce and Jill Thompson in California. Apollitical Blood is by All-Time Leading Single
Season Sire of Money Earners, World Champion Apollitical Jess, who was also named Champion 3 Year Old, Champion 3-Year-Old Colt and the #1 Leading Money Earning Colt of 2010. Apollitical Jess is the sire of over $46.4 million and $8.3 million in 2021 from both Quarter Horse and Paint Horse runners.
Apollitical Blood is out of the Fishers Dash mare Brazilian Dasher, a Grade 2 stakes placed mare who is a half-sister to 2-Time Champion FDD Dynasty. She has produced additional stakes winners Captain BD, Apollitical Legacy and Apollitical Dynasty. His second dam is four-time
Graded stakes winner Dinastia Toll BRZ, an All-Time Leading Dam of ROM with eight blacktype runners.
Hailing from a family like this, it was not surprising that Apollitical Blood was destined for greatness.
Racing at two and three, Apollitical Blood won six of 14 outs, including the $2,378,383 All American Derby-G1 in 2015. He was also second in the 2014 Golden State Million Futurity-G1 and a finalist in multiple Grade 1 stakes races, including the All American Futurity-G1, Los Alamitos Two Million Futurity-G1, Ed Burke Million Futurity-G1 and Texas Classic Derby-G1.
Apollitical Blood was named the 2015 Champion 3-Year-Old Colt and he was
a top 10 leading money earner in 2014 and 2015. He earned $1,519,800 on the track before moving to the stallion barn. Apollitical Blood stands at Robicheaux Ranch in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, under the present ownership of Rancho El Cabresto, Inc.

foals, 180 starters, 133 winners with total earnings of $8,082,541. His son Champion 2-Year-Old Gelding Trump My Record earned $979,068 with wins in the 2019
