At age 12, Preslee is just getting started in barrel racing, but the sport has quickly become the family’s newest pastime. Along with that, they hunt and fish and attend college football and basketball games in the area.
Keith’s future includes a new partnership
— APX Racing, named after his and Todd’s original business together, and the constant search for beautiful broodmare prospects outside the Corona Cartel line. “The thing I love
about horse racing is that it’s just as much fun
to watch horses you’ve raised as it is to watch horses you own and race,” he says. “We send them to people where they have the biggest chance to succeed.”
Just as Keith creates opportunities for his yearlings to succeed, he creates opportunities for his yearlings’ buyers to reap the rewards of their horses’ success. His unique perspective is a win-win for all involved.
