The Royal Crown Horse Sale was held Feb.
19 in Buckeye, Arizona. The Royal Crown is a breeders’ incentive designed to benefit the industry by giving back a substantial amount to the shareholders and breeders, with stallion and breeder money split 50/50 to give mare owners an incentive to breed to Royal Crown stallions.
The sale featured 34 consignments and 15 outs or no sales, for a total of 19 horses selling for $411,750 and an average of $21,671.
The $56,000 high-seller was Hip #33, Miss Streak N Chex (A Streak Of Fling-Miss High Brow Chex, Nu Chex To Cash), consigned by Russell A. Ratkowski. The 2017 palomino mare is by leading barrel sire A Streak Of Fling and out of a daughter of Nu Chex To Cash, NRHA Hall of Famer and Three Million Dollar Sire.

The sale featured 66 consignments and 24 outs or no sales, for a total of 42
horses selling for $650,000 and an average of $15,116.
The $45,000 high-seller was Hip #30, Feelin The Streakin (Feel The Sting- Streakin Lacey, A Streak Of Fling), con- signed by Lisa O’Rourke-Fulton and Jake Fulton. The 2020 bay roan filly is by NFR qualifier Feel The Sting and out of a daugh- ter of #3 All-Time Leading Barrel Sire A Streak Of Fling.
Second highest seller at $37,000 was Hip #15 A Streak Of Jule (A Streak Of Fling- Samantha Jule, Sak Em San), a 2018 red roan gelding consigned by Samantha Boone. He is by Leading Sire A Streak Of Fling and out of Samantha Jule.
