Packin Sixes, a son of Streakin Six was
a stakes winner in the QHBC Southwest Futurity and a finalist in the All American Futurity-G1. He was proving to be a good sire of barrel horses before his untimely death. His barrel racing horses include Sissys Little Coin, a Speedhorse Gold Futurity Champion, Old Fort Days Futurity Champion and Oklahoma City Futurity Champion.
Streakin Six as a broodmare sire of barrel horses has earnings of $2,957,855. His leading producing daughter is Streakin Six Babe. She is the dam of Ima Famous Babe with earnings of $421,000 and Babe On The Chase with earnings of $292,767.
Streakin Six was sired by Easy Six another Burnett Ranch bred stallion. He won the 1974 Sun Country Futurity and the 1975 Kansas Derby. He had 25 starts with ten wins, four seconds and three thirds, earning $198,740.
Easy Six had a very short career as a sire, dying when he was only six years old. He
sired just 180 foals with 146 starters with 122 ROM with 14 stakes winners and 13 stakes placed runners. His foals earned $2,628,286. His leading money earner is Streakin Six. He is also the sire of Sages Belle Star, first in the Alamo QHBA Futurity. She was fifth in that year’s All American Futurity-G1 and second in
the Rainbow Futurity-G1 behind her paternal half-brother Streakin Six. As a broodmare sire Easy Six produced through his daughters the winners of $5,030,406 with 364 starters with 261 ROM with 23 stakes winners, 27 stakes placed runners. His leading money earner as a maternal grandsire was See Me Do It, a multiple Champion including the 1989 AQHA Racing World Championship while winning such races as the 1989 Champion of Champions.
Easy Six had such a limited opportunity as a sire but he has taken full advantage of what he was given. He is, of course, the sire of Streakin Six, who is the sire of Streakin La Jolla, the sire of Mr Jess Perry, a Champion on the track and now the #3 All Time Leading sire of money earners with earnings exceeding $60 million. by Top Deck. The Top Deck sire line that comes down through Easy Six since 2007
has accounted for nine of the last 15 All American Futurity winners. They have been sired by Mr Jess Perry or one of his sons Feature Mr Jess, Apollitical Jess, One Famous Eagle and his grandson Hes Relentless.
Easy Six has had an influence on barrel racing as well. He is the sire of Six Fols, who is the sire of Marthas Six Moons,
