WL You Aint No Cowboy
(#8) receives every call for the fifth fastest qualifying position. BF Hannas Wagon (#5) makes an early run and finishes second for the sixth qualifying time. Domestic Dude (#4) finishes third and does not qualify.
Trial #2 • Race #5
Signs Of Livewire (#10) was never headed and won by an impressive 3-lengths, scoring
the top qualifying spot. PFR Quickwire (#6) was unmatched for a second place finish, securing the seventh qualifying time. Electric Tales (#9) grabbed third at the wire for the ninth qualifying spot, while RP Dirty Barracuda (#3) finished fourth and secured the final qualifying spot.
Trial #3 • Race #6
Salt Wire (#2) scores an
easy 1 1/4-length victory
and the fourth qualifying time. Turnpikes Peanut (#6) finished second and Marfas Big Deal (#8) was third, with neither qualifying.
Trial #4 • Race #7
Livewires Turnpike (#6) took the lead midway through the 350 yards to win by 1-length and the second qualifying spot. PFR Corona N Lime (#9) led early and settled for second
for the third fastest qualifying time. Turnpikers Eagle (#1) made a dash for third to secure the eighth qualifying spot.
