Charles Robinson bred Cers Final Try in Oklahoma from BP Shes All Corona, who started only five times, all for Robinson, with- out winning. Cers Final Try is the mare’s first winner in four starters.
Esgar Ramirez rode Hotsempting (Tempting Dash-Pandorum) to second for owners Miguel and Mauricio Gallegos and trainer Sergio Ibarra. In addition to her victory in the Ruidoso Derby, Hotsempting ran second in the 2019 Rainbow Futurity-G1.
Gold Heart Eagle V (One Famous Eagle- Ladys Heart Of Gold) finished third under jockey James Flores for owner Valeriano Racing Stables LLC and trainer Monty Arrossa. The colt had won one of four previous starts.
Completing the field were Jess Sumokin Hot (Apollitical Jess-Sumokin), Perrys Double Down (Mr Jess Perry-Double Down Darling), Apollitical J Wild (Apollitical Jess-BP Shes Southern),
KJ Mucho Macho Man (Apollitical Jess-Wild Six), Hes Back (Hes Relentless-Checknbac),
and Dynast C (PYC Paint Your Wagon-Bling Dynasty). Apollitical Papa was scratched.
