The live sale event will be streamed online at RaceRuidoso.com at no charge. Interested buyers will be able to bid onsite and via phone only. Horses will arrive on site at the Lazy E and will be available for inspection beginning Aug. 25. A single catalog will be produced for all three days and will be available the first week of August. A catalog can be requested at RaceRuidoso.com.
The sale dates are the weekend after the All American Futurity and Derby trials, which will be contested at Ruidoso Downs Aug. 21-23.
“We will not have the magic of Ruidoso this year, but the Lazy E arena is a nice air- conditioned facility that is used to hosting big events and will accommodate our specific needs. The 2020 Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale, the 2020 New Mexico Bred Sale and the Foal In Utero Sale will be conducted at the Lazy E Arena in Guthrie, Oklahoma, Aug. 27-29.
After weighing several factors relating to the annual horse sales, specifically the current New Mexico Public Health Order which limits mass gatherings, All American Ruidoso Horse Sale will partner with Lazy E Arena, located just north of Oklahoma City, to hold the sales.

Ruidoso Downs Race Track signed a multi-year broadcast deal with The Cowboy Channel, and through the new partnership, the first live event was the July 19 Rainbow Futurity.
The live broadcast show was hosted by Tom Dawson from Ruidoso Downs and Jeff Medders, who was in the Fort Worth, Texas, studio.
“The Cowboy Channel is a new and exciting development for the Ruidoso Downs digital strategy, which focuses on delivering live racing and lifestyle content,” said Jeff True, president and general manager of Ruidoso Downs. “We believe that our consumers are very similar to those of the The Cowboy Channel, and this deal will accrue to our mutual long-term benefit.
