Bella Vista Farms’ BV Sheslikethewind (Apollitical Jess-Corona Cayenne) ran 2nd under jockey Mario Delgado for trainer Eddie Lee Willis. The homebred filly pocketed $180,000 to bring her earnings to $194,032 from 4 outs. She won her trial to the Ruidoso Futurity wire-to-wire on May 24, and previ- ously won her trial to the Remington Park Oklahoma Bred Futurity-RG1.
Oatman Creek Senator (Louisiana Senator-Eyesa Lil Cuervo) and J.R. Ramirez
made a strong late effort and finished 3rd for owner Wootan Racing and trainer Mike Joiner. The gelding finished 2nd in his
debut in the May 25 Ruidoso Futurity trials, entering the finals with the 10th fastest clocking.
Lil Miss Sashay (Kiss My Hocks- Sashay Hot) finished 4th and was fol-
lowed by Cartel Charly (Coronado Cartel-Stoli Angel), Good Candy
P (Good Reason SA-Send Me This Wagon), Hotsempting
(Tempting Dash-Pandorum), Kiss Thru Fire (Walk Thru
Fire-Fredaville), and Silk For My Hero V (One Valiant Hero-Silk Mountain). Third-
fastest overall qualifier At Attention was scratched.
