With the 2023 breeding season about to get started, horsemen are busy planning the matings for their mares. They are looking for the right nick for each mare. A nick, simply put, is the mating of a stallion with a mare that produces an outstanding foal. The ultimate goal is to get a foal better than the sire and dam, as we are always looking to improve our horses with the best mating possible.
One of the great nicks today comes with the mating of leading sire Favorite Cartel and
2020 Leading Sire of Money Earners and Champion Sire Favorite Cartel.
