Political Attraction (#4) made a driving finish to win by 1 3/4-lengths for the 2nd fastest qualifying time. Storm Cat Audition (#5) was a game 2nd and Mighty B Good (#6) followed in 3rd.

Express Train No 9 (#3) broke well and took the lead in the stretch to finish 1-length in front, scoring the 3rd fastest qualifying time. Miss Racy Cartel (#7) dueled and was a game 2nd for the final qualifying spot. Malfunction 15 (#5) was bumped and finished 3rd.
