Q: If you could vacation anywhere
on the planet, where would it be and what would you do there?
A: Hawaii. I don’t exactly know what people do in Hawaii, but I’m pretty sure I’d have fun!
Q: Do you have a favorite quote and, if so, what is it?
A: “Own your doodie.”
Q: If you could sit down and visit with anyone, past or present, who would it be? A: I would sit down with all the great horsemen of the Quarter Horse business, past and pres- ent, and document all their interesting stories.
Q: What drink would your friends describe you as, and why?
A: No idea, I don’t know many drink names! Probably something fizzy and tart, but tasty.
Q: Who’s your favorite athlete of all time, and why?
A: Dash For Cash in racing, and Doc Bar in performance. Both were game-changers.
Q: If you were making a movie about yourself, who would you cast to play you, and why?
A: Hard question and at what age, anyway? I suppose Hayden Panettiere might be kind of
close for a certain time period, but she’s prob- ably not loud enough.
Q: What’s one thing you don’t like about Quarter Horse racing?
A: The current medications issue muddying up an industry full of wonderful horses and devoted people.
Q: What’s one thing you like about Quarter Horse racing?
A: I love how the [good] racing people always put their horses first. Their world is always about how every inch and every aspect of the horse is doing, and then themselves.
