Trial #1 – Race #3
PHQ Goodbye Earl breaks well and takes the early lead
to draw clear for a 2-length victory and the 3rd fastest qualifying time. Snookie is a game second and BP Apollitical Sun places third – neither qualify.
Trial #2 – Race #4
Turnpikers Wagon (#2) receives every call and wins by a nose for the 9th qualifying position. Jess Icy (#1) finishes strong and takes 2nd for the fi- nal qualifying place. Truck Yeah is third and does not qualify.
Trial #3 – Race #5
Paint Me Turnpike is never headed and wins by an easy 2-lengths for the 2nd fastest qualifying place. I Hear Banjos and Czech My Dashin Image deadheat for 2nd – neither qualifies.
Trial #4 – Race #6
Cherry Cobbler (#3) makes
a strong drive to the wire and wins by a neck for the 5th qual- ifying position. Fanci Flyin (#6) is a close 2nd for the 6th qualifying spot. Slim Chickens is bumped hard and finishes 3rd but does not qualify.
Trial #5 – Race #7
Ivoriona blows the field away and takes a 2-length victory for the fastest qualifying position. Ho Lotta Love is 2nd best for the 4th fastest time; Col Bucks runs an even 3rd for the 7th qualifying position; and Kearl Girl is 4th for the 8th qualify- ing spot.
