LUCKY
WONDER
HORSE
Moves to St. Onge, SD
Woodbury Performance Horses announces "Lucky Wonder Horse" is moving to St. Onge, SD. Lucky Wonder Horse, a purple bred buckskin stallion has been purchased by Myer's Performance Horses from Woodbury Performance Horses. Lucky is probably the only buckskin stallion sired by the immortal First Down Dash. Lucky is an own son of First Down Dash, out of Rosas Cantina CC (buckskin mare), by Corona Cartel out of Dash Ta Vanila, by Dash Ta Fame, out of SX Frenchmans Vanila, by Frenchmans Guy.
"Lucky is probably one of the best 4th generation matings I have ever done, combining First Down Dash (progeny earnings of $85,000,000.00) on a own Daughter of Corona Cartel (progeny earnings $50,000,000.00) with Barrel Horses Dash Ta Vanila, #1 Champion Barrel Horse sire Dash Ta Fame, only triple crown winner Frenchmans SX Vanila and #2 Champion sire Frenchmans Guy." Combining all these champions ending up with such an intelligent, great minded- horse. Lucky will prove that smart horses make winners!
Bill and Deb Myers always strive to raise the best and look at Lucky as a possible outcross on their Frenchmans Guy, A Smooth Guy and Cowboy Cartel daughters.
Alan Woodbury has had lots of interest in Lucky, though he has never been advertised for sale. He is happy to see Lucky stay local in the Dakotas, where local people can breed to Lucky in their own backyard. He knows Bill and Deb will do a great job with Lucky and everything is the perfect fit.
