Please Note The Following Sale Changes:
All horses selling must have the following:
Health Certificate dated no earlier than 10 days prior to the sale indicating the horse has been vaccinated for EHV-1 with an FDA approved live or killed virus vaccine not less than 14 days and not more than 90 days prior to the sale. The Health Certificate must contain a statement by the issuing veterinarian that he/she has physically examined each horse within 72 hours of issuing the Certificate and that the animal does not exhibit any clinical signs of the virus, that its temperature was normal at the time of examination, that the owner/trainer verified that the horse has not been exposed to a suspected EHV-1 positive horse within the past 21 days. There are no exceptions to this rule.
Coggins Test dated no earlier than 10 days prior to the sale.
Both sales commence approximately 45 minutes after the close of live racing at Ruidoso Downs Racetrack.
