JEH, C Hangin C Promote Barrel Event
JEH Stallion Station at Oklahoma Stud
in Purcell, Oklahoma, along with Lea and Craig Stodart of C Hangin C Performance Horses, are supporting the Barrel Racing industry through sponsoring added-money events located at the JEH indoor arena. Additional sponsors include Royal Vista Southwest, Royal Vista Ranches, Canadian River Quarter Horses, Dr. Matt Nimmo
of Oklahoma Equine Hospital, Marty and Shalia Powers of MP Horses, James Ranch, and the connections to Coronas Prospect. In the spirit of giving back to the barrel industry and exemplifying the crossover between racing and barrels, JEH is coordinating a drawing for four free breedings to Inseperable from the winners of each division. “Due to Mr. Helzer’s foresight in seeing the need of the race industry to contribute to the barrel horse industry, many of the neighboring stal- lion stations and industry providers readily support this endeavor with their sponsor- ship,” stated Lea Stodart.
RGP Yearling Consignment Deadlines
RGP Release--A reminder to the breeders from Robin Glenn Pedigrees: it’s time to get your yearlings registered if you want their names in the 2016 yearling sale catalogs. A name may only be used on a horse’s catalog page if AQHA registration has been com- pleted and an AQHA registration number assigned, and the best policy is to have the foals registered before they are consigned to
a sale. Currently, AQHA foal registration is requiring 2-3 weeks, but turnaround time can change depending on volume. Consignment deadlines for RGP’s yearlings sales are: TQHA Sale – May 2; Heritage Place Yearling Sale – June 17; Ruidoso NM Bred – May
13; Ruidoso Select Sale – May 13; and Los Alamitos Equine Sale – July 1.

April Speedlines Correction, Corona Cartel
An obvious mistake appeared on pages 40 and 41 of the April 2016 issue in our Speedlines feature. Corona Cartel is sired by Holland Ease, who is sired by First Down Dash. As stated, Corona Cartel is indeed a prominent branch of the Three Bars sire line.
