“I owned APOLLITICAL BLOOD’s grandmother APOLLITICAL TIME (Champion Three-Year-Old Filly, Champion Aged Horse, Champion Aged Mare & Broodmare of the Year) and on two occasions had her running in the Champion of Champions, but failed to win the race. Four years later came ‘The Rematch’ with her son APOLLITICAL JESS (World Champion, Champion Three Year Old
& Champion Three-Year-Old Colt) winning the Champion of Champions in new track record time, but failing to win the 2010 All American Derby, despite having the fastest qualifying time. Now, five years later, ‘The Rematch’, his son APOLLITICAL BLOOD, won the 2015 All American Derby by 1 3/4-lengths! This has been incredible for me and my family. Emotions that we have lived with throughout these races are indecipherable.
Juan G. Aleman has always been my trainer and was in charge of these three grand ‘APOLLITICAL HORSES’. There are not enough words to thank him for all of these achievements. Maybe the two of us also carry ‘Apollitical Blood’ in our veins.”
