Trial #1 – Race #5 - Hotwiredotcom (#3) went wire-to-wire for a
1 1/4-length victory and the fastest qualifying time. I Like It Alota (#5) finished second for the 4th fastest qualifying time and Hang Ten (#4) placed third to qualify 6th. Crosswired (#1) finished fourth after a clean trip to qualify with the 8th fastest time.
Trial #2 – Race #6 - Bully Pulpit (#3) makes a strong drive to the wire and won by a neck for the 2nd qualifying position. PHQ Goodbye Larry (#2) finished well and took 2nd place for the 3rd qualifying spot, and Dashin Turnpike (#5) battled for third place and the 7th fastest qualifying time. Ojo Por Ojo (#8) broke on top and finished fourth for the final qualifying spot.
Trial #3 – Race #7 - Jes A Bug (#1) cruised to the finish to win by 3/4-lengths for the 5th fastest qualifying place. Heza Soul On Fire (#8) was second best and qualified in 9th position. El Diablo (#7) had a late surge and was up for third, but did not qualify.
Trial #4 – Race #8 - Taken It Tothe Limit (#6) made a strong drive to the wire and won by a neck. DCM Furyofthestorm (#7) was a close 2nd, and WL Bad Hombre (#2) was photoed out at the wire and took 3rd place. None of the horses from this heat qualified to the finals.
