With generous support from many horsemen and racing related businesses, last year’s Final Fertilization Golf Tournament raised $60,000 to benefit the Race Track Chaplaincy of America and the Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund.
Sanctioning 61 Chaplains and serving 82 tracks across the nation, the Race Track Chaplaincy of America teaches, preaches and ministers to the spiritual, emotional, physical, social and educational needs of those involved in all aspects of the racing industry.
The Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund is a public charity that provides financial assistance to some 60 former jockeys who have suffered catastrophic on-track injuries. Since its founding in 2006, the fund has disbursed over $3 million to permanently disabled jockeys.
