* BY FEBRUARY 15, 2013, A SPECIFIC HORSE MUST BE NAMED AND THE OWNER OF THE HORSE MUST PROVIDE PROOF OF OWNERSHIP OR LEASE OF THE HORSE.
The Net Purse will be paid pursuant to the Purse Distribution below and is equal to the total of all nomination payments, sustaining payments, late nomination payments, entry payments, and supplementary payments plus the added money (the “Total Money”), less the following: 10% of the total payments (excluding Added Money) will be retained for administrative and advertising expenses and $75,000 retained as added money for the Heritage Juvenile. After one million dollars has been reached, $100,000 to supplement trial purses and any remaining nomination payments will go into the Futurity Purse.
The winner of the Futurity, the Heritage Juvenile and each trial will receive a blanket and the ten qualifiers for the finals will receive saddle towels. A trophy will be presented to the winner of the Futurity.
