$5,000 Scholarship to be awarded from a live drawing at Evangeline Downs Winners Circle

Participants/Entrants Must Register in Person between 4:30 PM & 6:00 PM, Saturday, November 28, 2015, At Evangeline Downs (1st floor, near clubhouse elevators) located at 2235 Cresswell Lane Extension Opelousas, LA 70570. Attendance Is Mandatory for Entry in the Live Drawing.
Subject to approval by the LQHBA board, the participant/entrant must be a LA High School Graduate or a student who is graduating from a LA High School in 2016 & will attend a higher education institution in the calendar year 2016. Scholarships are limited to the cost of tuition, books (electronic or printed) & required electronic study materials only. The proceeds of the scholarship will be paid directly to the educational institution the recipient attends. All recipients are required to participate in promotional photos receiving their scholarship award certificate.
