Preliminary results for the 2015 Heritage Place Fall Mixed Sale, which was held Oct. 29-30 in Oklahoma City, showed a slight 5% decrease in sale average compared to last year. Of the 550 horses offered, 443 (89%) were reported sold for $4,860,800.
“I believe we had a good sale this weekend and based on the interest we have for the Winter Mixed Sale, I think we can all look forward to a great set of horses in January,” stated Heritage Place General Manager Spence Kidney, according to StallioneSearch.
The highest seller at $205,000 was Hip #114 Your First Moon (First Down Dash-Moon Arisen, Beduino TB), a 1999 gray mare consigned by Vessels Stallion Farm LLC Dispersal, Bob Moore Farms, LLC, Agent, and purchased by Ramon Vega. Your First Moon is a 2-time Champion herself and the dam of 2014 Champion 3 Year Old/2014 Champion 3-Year-Old Gelding Moonist. Ramon Vega also purchased the second- highest seller at $103,000, also consigned by Vessels Stallion Farm LLC Dispersal, Bob Moore Farms, Agent. Hip #127 Our Last Choice (First Down Dash-Harems Choice, Beduino TB) is a full sister to Champion Royal Quick Dash and 2-time Champion First Sovereign.
