Smith was absolutely right because the result was never in doubt once the gate opened.
With Cody Smith aboard, Danjer immedi- ately jumped out to the front, and no one could get close to him. He thoroughly dominated the field, scoring by 2-lengths in :20.732 for a 112 speed index.
