Running for a Year-End Award? Check Your Eligibility Today
APHA year-end awards are coming up. Are you eligible? Remember that these prestigious titles are awarded to the owner or lessee of record
as of December 31 of the racing year—if their APHA membership is current and the APHA Racing Participation Fee is paid.
This annual fee—$25 before March 1 and $100 after that date—is assessed to all recorded own- ers of APHA race starters. Owners of multiple horses only pay once if all the horses are owned under the same membership number. Non- payment doesn’t impact a horse’s race record as records are kept on all horses; however, a horse is only eligible for an award if the fee is paid. Renew your membership online at apha. myshowday.com or visit apha.com/racing to pay the fee today.
